In 2007, TriStar Publishing, Inc., was recognized for its successful business practices by two Kansas City-area business publications.
In July, TriStar was listed in Ingram’s magazine’s “Corporate 100 Report,” which has identified the Kansas City metro area’s fastest growing companies for the past 22 years. With a growth rate of 251.58 percent from 2003 to 2006, TriStar ranks as the area’s 23rd fastest-growing company.
Then in September, TriStar was named one of the “Best Places to Work in Kansas City” by the Kansas City Business Journal. The program, in its seventh year, recognizes small, medium and large companies that provide good workplaces based on their employees’ evaluations.
Robin Boss, TriStar’s chief operating officer, said the recognition is a direct result of the company’s priorities. “We take great pride in our business relationships, both with our employees and our clients,” she said, “and the company’s financial success is a direct result of those relationships. They’re the foundation of everything we do.”
